EMPLOYMENT DETAILS August 2007 till Date- Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. ROLE DESCRIPTION:-  Working in a SAS Production Support Team with Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd.  As a part of my current project, the job description includes generating reports in SQL, SAS and working as an Production Support Member for a U.S. based Insurance client.  Creating Reports in SAS EG/ Oracle-SQL/SAS Web Report Studio.  Creating Information Maps in SAS Information Map Studio.  Production Support.  Create ETL Jobs using SAS DI for building the data warehouse to incorporate new business rules.  Enhance existing jobs for better performance.  Work on Problem Tickets of Priority 0, 1, 2 and 3, Change Requests.  One of the primary contact for all activities in the team. CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENTS INITIATIVES - AUTOMATION:  Created a SAS date Macros, which calculates the Start Date and End Date for Reporting Purpose for frequencies ranging from Annual, Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly, Bi-Weekly etc. Same has been uploaded as asset to Accenture Capability Development and is currently being piloted to a project.  Wrote a winscp3 script to move the files from Unix to client shared drive directly. This process reduces the manual effort of copying and pasting the files.  Automated template report in SAS EG: Earlier Process involved executing the sql’s in Query Analyzer and copy paste the results in client specific template. With the automation initiatives, all the queries were tweaked according to SAS Coding conventions and were scheduled as a project to run at specific interval of time. All the projects were scheduled in such a way that, the output gets generated even before an employee enters the office and all that an individual needs to do is refresh the client template. This process has resulted in good cost savings for the client as a user need not be present in the office to execute the sql’s and need not wait until the database refresh is complete.  Wrote a SAS Macro to delete duplicates from a file.  Created a Training Material named “Reporting with respect to SAS Web Report Studio”, SAS Enterprise Guide Material, which were uploaded as assets to Accenture Capability and were included in SAS Startup Kit.  Created a Case Study on HealthCare Domain which involved developing a Star Schema and questions on Reporting in SAS Web Report Studio  Trained colleagues in Base SAS.
