From developing devices that replace or repair a diseased heart valve to creating new technologies that monitor vital signs in the critical care setting, we help ensure that patients regain and even improve their quality of life. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Staff Statistical Programmer (SAS) Opportunity Snapshot: · Develop, test, validate, document, maintain and execute programs in SAS · Serve as lead programmer under supervision of project statistician · Prepare, document, and review data listings, summary tables, and graphs for inclusion in clinical reports or presentations · Prepare analysis datasets for use by statisticians · Ensure analysis data and programming code meet regulatory and company standards and are consistently structured to permit efficient programming, reporting, and review · Respond to data requests from company team members · Staff Statistical Programmer will take primary role in review and validation of SAS programs created by more junior-level programmers · Ensure that all appropriate program validation documentation is appropriately filled out and approved · Develop program specification and design documents under supervision of project statistician · Share programming expertise with more junior-level programmers.

Our Requirements: ***Multilevel position: Position title and level posted is preferred. However, depending on background and experience, we will consider hiring at the Senior Statistical Programmer level. The Senior Statistical Programmer requires a minimum of five (5) years of solid SAS programming experience, ideally with clinical data. The Staff Statistical Programmer requires a minimum of seven (7) years of solid SAS programming experience, ideally with clinical data. Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science. A Master's degree in Statistics is preferred and may be considered to offset minimum experience requirement. Knowledge of Windows operating systems required. Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
