Marketing Analytics Inc. is a leader in marketing effectiveness consulting and tools. For 18 years, we’ve helped clients improve their business through data-based marketing. Our Consulting Services group has an open, full-time position in the northern Chicago suburbs for a SAS Consultant. Would develop automated analytic applications using SAS and other technologies. Responsibilities: • Design, build, maintain, test and document sophisticated SAS applications that heavily leverage SAS macro code • Abstract and generalize requirements in order to create a single code base that is flexible and customizable for different client needs • Efficiently code applications for fast run times • Act as an internal consultant in order to understand the need & requirements behind each request • Thoroughly test all code to ensure the accuracy of the final results • Create and maintain user documentation for the internal SAS user community

Platform:

Required Skills:

• BS in computer science or math • Very strong SAS coding skills • 3+ years experience and high proficiency writing SAS macros • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Creativity and strategic thinking needed to design solutions • Detail oriented • Highly motivated self starter • Knowledge of SQL Server and .NET development a plus • Some travel required

• Math or statistics background a strong plus
