Analyze findings and makes recommendations based upon results. Assist claims management to establish and maintain metrics and controls, monitor controls, identify trends and potential process improvements through statistical methods. Additional responsibilities include defining requirements, creating and preparing reports, creating and maintaining databases, and preparing detailed data analyses to support claims decisions. Position Requirements: - Up to 4 years of Business Analyst experience conducting research, evaluation and analysis of current business, industry and competitor issues and future business, industry and competitor trends - Familiarity with Base SAS. SAS/STAT is a plus - Extensive experience effectively managing multiple tasks and changing priorities in a complex business environment - A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or the equivalent in related work experience - Excellent computer skills with ability to work in database and spreadsheet programs. Must be very familiar with Excel - Strong research and analytical skills a must - Ability to work independently and under strict deadlines in a fast-paced team environment - Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills
