Title : Database Administrator 4 (Oracle Apps E-Business Suites) Position Type : 6 Months Contract to Hire Location : Raleigh/Durham, NC Positions : 2 Full Requirement: ¨ Commending innovative solutions to business problems of high complexity, including preparation of economic models, cost-benefit analyses and project budgets for technology acquisition. ¨ Develops and maintains specialized knowledge of current and emerging technologies. ¨ Provides training to less experienced team members of the IS department. Minimum Qualifications: ¨ A four-year degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. ¨ An equivalent combination of education or experience in computer or telecommunications architectures, systems analysis, and management of information technology may be substituted. ¨ A minimum of nine (9) years total IT experience. At least three (3) of the past five (5) years experience in a large (>100GB ) production DBA environment. ¨ This position requires the ability to obtain a Postal Sensitive clearance. This position requires the following demonstrated competencies: ¨ Ability to be proactive and resourceful in managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and fluid environment. A commitment to quality. ¨ This position requires specialized knowledge and skills in the architectures, technologies, and tools outlined below as illustrated by the ability to independently and quickly recognize, diagnose and resolve complex problems, and the ability to evaluate emerging technologies: Database Management - i.e., Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and associated components, such as gateways and replication services. ¨ Storage Subsystems - i.e., hardware, software, backup and recovery. ¨ Systems Management - i.e., remote operations, software distribution, configuration management. ¨ Security - i.e., hardware, software, and data. ¨ Performance engineering - i.e., measurement and modeling methods and tools. ¨ Candidates must also be familiar with the following architectures and be able to navigate and function within them: ¨ Server Platforms - i.e., server operating systems and hardware platforms. ¨ Workstation Platforms - i.e., client operating systems and hardware platforms. ¨ Local Area Networks - i.e., network operating systems, LAN protocols, LAN management. ¨ Data Communications - i.e., wide-area networking protocols, software, equipment, facilities, network management platforms. ¨ The Supplier Firm MUST be able to: Run and provide a credit report for the individual submitted. Provide a minimum 5-panel SAMSHA certified drug test report which lists what drugs have been tested. ¨ Provide a detailed background report within a reasonable timeframe that checks for Felonies and Misdemeanors in ALL counties lived and worked. ¨ The report itself must contain a statement that verifies this fact. ¨ The report must also verify all employment and education listed for a 7 year period of time.
